Biking in Alpendorf, Austria
When the spring sun comes out it’s time to pull the bikes out of the garage and hit the roads!
Sankt Johann is conveniently located on the 180km long Tauernradweg, one of Austria’s most beautiful cycle paths, leading from Krimmel via Sankt Johann and Salzburg to Passau.
In addition there are 30km of family-friendly cycle paths for the whole family as well as some challenging mountain bike tracks.
A mountain biking map with 20 routes in the “Salzburg Sportwelt” is available at the tourist office. Guided mountain bike tours are offered by Alpendorf Aktiv and some hotels.
